It was so kind of the owner to send through some photos that were taken in a montage with happy birthday music too,this was really appreciated. Honestly this was one of the best experiences we have done and is 100% worth the money. At the end of the experience we were allowed to quickly go look at Railay beach prior to getting the long tail back to Ao nang and returned to our hotel. The beach at Railay was pretty busy with other climbing schools but we were just the two of us with Ched and he ensured we got some excellent climbs in whilst working with the other instructors. Ched was a brilliant instructor who is clearly a very experienced climber himself and helped us to complete 5-6 climbs each of various difficulties. On arrival we went through the safety briefings and we commenced the climbing. We were then taken down to the pier to meet our instructor, Ched where we boarded the longtail to take us to Railay. They all wished me happy birthday and we got fitted for our climbing gear. When I had booked I had mentioned it was my 30th birthday that day and I was doing it as an experience to remember for the special occasion. We were picked up on time and taken to the shop to get geared up where we were met by the owner, his wife and their small son.
They were extremely quick at getting back to us, and arranged to collect us from the lobby of our hotel in Ao Nang. We contacted them through Facebook the day before to finalise arrangements and opted to do. We booked the half day experience with Real Rocks after finding them on trip advisor.
